Institutional Projects

As a result of our high standards, we have been able to provide services to a long list of institutions, with many asking for Spray Tech Painting by name.

Los Angeles
Pierce College

LA Pierce College had plans to build several new facilities for their students including a new library, cafeteria, science building as along with new classrooms after a lengthy process, Spray Tech Painting was finally awarded the contract for the project. We worked tirelessly along the guidelines set by the LA Community College District, the district leader for the local community colleges, to complete the project over a multi-year period.

Emblem Academy
Elementary School

A prevailing wage job, Spray Tech Painting was presented a challenge. We were contracted to paint the entire interior of the school and the exteriors of the of the old and new buildings alike, a complete project. The challenge was to complete a normally 6-month project all over summer break!!! Of course, this posed no challenge for Spray Tech Painting, the project was completed and passed all checks required by the district all in just 7 weeks!!!

Lowell Mason Elementary School

This school came to Spray Tech Painting to help provide a visual refresh for their Academy. A vibrant blue accent over a white base was used around all their facilities.

Grace Baptist Church

Spray Tech Painting was awarded the opportunity to give Grace Baptist Church a complete makeover. We were tasked to paint all the interiors and all the exteriors. We also coated the metal roofs with strong coats of a 2-stage urethane painting system for a very long-lasting finish!

St. Alfonso Church

Saint Alfonso Church in East Los Angeles, CA, was built in 1889 and is one of the mother churches for the Arch diocese of Los Angeles. A modified basilica, the 45,000-square-foot structure is 100 feet wide and 200 feet long with a bell tower that rises 217 feet into the air. Its primary worship space seats more than 1,400. When it came time to choose a painting contractor for the historic religious preservation project, challenges to consider included the ability to deal with cracked plaster over brick. Additionally, the building’s intricate design meant a brush and roller application process would necessary on a very large scale to rehabilitate the inside. Spray Tech Painting was up for the challenge. For the exterior masonry walls, over 2,500 gallons of primer and paint were applied to provide beauty and protection. New exterior metal windows were primed with a high-build epoxy coating that provides excellent adhesion, followed by a topcoat of two part epoxy finish. All bare cast iron was primed with Series III Endura-Shield, an acrylic polyurethane, for graffiti resistance as well as color and gloss retention. The renovated church was rededicated and reopened in November 2005 and thanks to Spray Tech’s help, it stands ready to meet the needs of the diocese well into the 21st century.

Church of the Canyons

Spray Tech Painting took this job as a personal project. A donation to the Church of the Canyons, Spray Tech Painting painted EVERYTHING within the property line. Interiors, exteriors, the metal roof, and all the wrought iron fencing throughout the property.

St. Finbar Church

Saint Finbar Catholic Church and School is a Roman Catholic church and elementary school on Olive Avenue in Burbank, California. It is the largest Catholic parish in Burbank, a city with a population of more than 100,000 people.

The Sanctuary Church

The Sanctuary Church awarded Spray Tech Painting with the contract to repaint the interiors and exteriors of the massive building and to waterproof the building we laid down coats of elastomeric paint. They had also given us the challenge of painting their 120-foot free standing cell tower which we quickly took care of with a 120-foot boom lift.
